Re: Garden fencing for dogs on caravan sites

Have you tried certificated sites? They are much more relaxed. My friend and I used to stay on them between shows and were lways allowed to put up fencing if necessary. Often it wasn't as we were the only ones in the field and our dogs could just wander about. I have only stayed on a Camping and Car...

Re: Shuddering

Tosca is becoming confused like that, Sharon. Twice this week I have had to get up because she has walked out of the bedroom past the waterbowl and then barked. Each time she wanted a drink and then drank for England. She must now forget it is there and, being blind, she cannot see it. I have to thi...

Re: Team Dash Finals

It was the Small Shrewsbury team who got 4 wonderful clears but just had a mishap with a baton change. Such a shame but they can all be proud of their runs and for qualifying in the first place.

Re: Facebook - No Thanks

You are right to be wary Aileen. I made sure that I became familiar with all the privacy settings before I embarked on Facebook. All my posts etc. are limited to Friends only - you can have Friends of friends or even Everyone. Plus I have blocked any popups, adverts etc. My friends and I inform eac...

Re: Facebook - No Thanks

In a way, I agree with you Pam. I would much prefer 'real life' going out and about, meeting friends, shopping etc. I tell my busy friends that I understand they haven't time for Facebook because I wouldn't have when I was teaching, running Empingham DTC etc.

Re: Facebook - No Thanks

I am the opposite. Facebook helps to keep me sane. Because I suffer from M.E. I do not go out much, apart from agility shows, and have to sit down quite a lot of the time while at home. I play Scrabble with a group of friends, compete at Bejewelled Blitz and Mindjolt games and love to read what my f...

Re: Help with Colitis

My 4 year old Sheltie has chronic colitis and I find I can manage it by diet. I have found out what she can and can't eat and she has not had it this year for the first time. She used to pass stools covered in blood and mucus. Liver is a definite no and I am very careful with treats. She is on the ...

Re: Bioflow Collars?

I tried a collar on my OES but it made no difference at all. At the time I thought it could be because of her thick coat.
Have also tried a bracelet on myself and it did not help either.
